The Tsar executed the brother of the wounded man and seized his property. He resolved to take revenge. That is why the wounded man became an enemy of the Tsar.

When trying to find out the Tsar, the wounded man was identified and wounded seriously by the Tsar’s bodyguards. Anyhow he ran out of the woods. Eventually the Tsar found the wounded man, served him and saved his life. When he realised that the Tsar, whom you wanted to kill, saved his life, he became repentant. So he confessed this before the Tsar.

Ultimately the Tsar understood that none of the answers was correct. All of the answers were different to each other. So he agreed with none of them.

All the answers being different the Tsar, and still wanting to find out the right answers to his three questions, he decided to meet a wise hermit who lived in the wood.

The wounded man begged forgiveness because he realised his mistakes and became repentant. When the wounded man saw that his life was saved by the Tsar whom he wanted to kill as revenge, he begged pardon.

Ultimately, the Tsar forgave him and made peace with the wounded man easily. The Tsar also promised the wounded man to send his attendants and his physician also to look after him. He also assured him that he would return his property which he seized previously.
